food that brings the people

people that bring the energy

People holding tacos, a Jarritos lime soda, and a can of Cutwater tequila margarita.

It started as a pivot- and turned into something bigger.

Ghost Taco exists to make food people show up for.

It started as a pop-up. Tight menu. Big flavour. The response was immediate. People lined up, came back, and brought friends.

We didn’t overthink it. We leaned into what worked. Bold tacos, unapologetic choices, and a point of view that stood out. Ghost Taco isn’t trying to fit in. It never was.

No Ghost Taco near you? Let’s change that.

Tacos Done Our Way

Colorful outdoor table setting with plates of tacos, nachos, and salads, along with pink glasses and summer drinks on a purple tiled surface.

WE DO TACOS DIFFERENTLY.
ON PURPOSE.

Unapologetically unauthentic flavours. A menu that hits. Built to travel well and taste better. Tacos like these deserve house margaritas and cervezas. We handled that.

Fast casual, our way.

“Every ingredient just hit. Hard.”

BUILT TO STAND OUT

Doing things differently gets noticed.

We’ve earned national recognition, landing on Canada’s Top 100 Franchises of 2025, being nominated for Emerging Franchise of the Year, and securing a spot on Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers (2025).

We didn’t build Ghost Taco for the recognition. It followed anyway.

Sam & Grant Buckley

Ghost Taco started as a pivot, but it was built on years of hospitality, creativity, and a deep belief in bringing people together over good food.

When the pandemic shut down their events business, Sam and Grant launched Ghost Taco as a pop-up to keep their team working and to try something new. It was meant to be temporary. Instead, people showed up in a big way.

What followed wasn’t a master plan. It was momentum. Long nights. Early mornings. Listening closely to what people loved and doubling down on it.

Today, Sam and Grant still lead Ghost Taco the same way they did at the start — hands-on, flavour-forward, and people-first. Focused on building something that feels as good as it tastes and keeps people coming back. Still hungry? Same.
